The Role

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for building relationships with our clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and creating expansion opportunities for the Customer Success Executive team.

What You Will Do

  • Generate new prospects through strategic outbound campaigns.
  • Manage a high volume of communication via phone, email to engage and qualify leads for the Customer Success team.
  • Work targeted call lists, and create personalized messaging to engage in communication with potential future customers.
  • Continuously expand product knowledge for a consultative approach to leads.
  • Follow established processes, cleanse and update data in our sales CRM.
  • Set qualified meetings for Customer Success Executives.
  • Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the BDR role to BDR Managers and Customer Success Leadership.
  • Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices.
  • Understand and be able to articulate the features and benefits of Bloomerang.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and current nonprofit sector conditions.

What You Need to Succeed
  • A desire to grow within Bloomerang and for developing a career in technology sales.
  • Being highly detail-oriented who can learn new processes quickly.
  • Coachability and openness to change is key.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and be a team player.
  • Inside sales/lead generation experience is a plus! (1+ years).
  • The drive to advance into a quota-carrying sales role.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills.
  • Competitive drive and the ability to self-motivate to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Strong ability to problem solve and find new ways to create value.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $42,500 - $57,500, plus incentive compensation. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.

Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
