UI/UX Designer (Remote)

About the Job
We’re looking for a highly motivated, curious, and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our Cloud Solutions team. In this role, you’ll be working as part of a global, cross-functional team to deliver thoughtful, engaging, and forward-looking experiences for our customers and partners. In addition, you’ll also be collaborating with software developers, product managers, and other designers to solve complex user experience projects that span across SUSE’s product and solutions portfolio.

What You’ll Do
- Work closely with product and solutions teams to identify business needs and develop designs to meet those needs
- Develop and design wireframes, prototypes, mockups, personas, storyboards, and end-to-end user workflows
- Present design concepts to audiences from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Create detailed style guidelines and visual asset specifications
- Continuously iterate on existing solutions to make them increasingly effective and delightful for users
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, healthy and inclusive learning culture
- An inclusive, curious, empathetic working style and collaborative mindset
- Experience with standard design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe CC, etc.)
- Visual and graphic design skills including composition, typography, and color theory
- Experience working with web-based applications and environments
- Familiarity with user research and evaluation techniques
- Ability to give and receive thoughtful and constructive feedback
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
- Familiarity with open source development
- Interest in conducting user research, concept/usability testing, and evaluating user feedback
