Responsibilities
- Proofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax; ensure content is properly formatted to suit client and brand voice and SEO conventions
- Curate copy and content for our clients, including blog posts, landing pages, and on-site copy
- Organize, modify and update existing content
- Verify content, information and assist in topic research
- Serve as a point of contact for copy and content created for our clients, participating in client calls to understanding the client's marketing goals to create effective content
- Manage existing relationships with freelancers and create new ones, editing their work to reflect client goals as needed
- Work cross functionally with other media departments to develop compelling content
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (there is a reason this is the first bullet—it is our most important qualification)
- 3+ years of experience in content editing and/or copywriting
- Analytical thinker—always asking the "why" and not afraid to speak up
- Experience managing freelancer/contractor relationships and editing their work
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines at once
- Comfortability utilizing Asana, ClickUp or comparable project management platform
- Experience writing SEO optimized content and industry best practices a plus
- $60,000 - $70,000
