Position Description


As Zoic Lab's UX Designer, you will be become familiar with product goals, and use that information to create and optimize user flows and wireframes to ultimately produce a great user experience across a new software application.


Work with the engineering department and client/user to find the perfect marriage between functional user experience and design.


This is a project-based position with a duration of 1-3 months with the potential for booking extensions


Skills Required


  • Extensive experience designing user-experiences for web applications, mobile applications, and/or applications for other platforms.
  • Experience gathering requirements from clients and working with clients on product design and development at each stage of project life cycle.
  • Experience generation flows, wireframes, prototypes, and corresponding documentation.
  • Knowledge of information architecture and associated principles of UX and product design
  • Experience with modern prototyping software
  • Ability to do rapid prototyping of applications
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices and progressive enhancement
  • Advanced knowledge of cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with responsive design
  • Mobile/Tablet app UX design experience
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Understanding of HTML5/CSS3 a plus!

Additional Information


  • This is a remote (work-from-home position)
  • Candidates located in Los Angeles and surrounding area preferred
  • Zoic does not cover relocation costs
  • Zoic Studios Los Angeles and New York participates in the eVerify program
