The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the BetterLesson content marketing strategy ensuring our message is consistent and engaging across all channels and personas. This role will convey the BetterLesson story by creating informative content promoting BetterLesson's brand, products, and services with K-12 District and School Leaders. The Content Marketing Manager will establish systems and processes for leveraging materials and expertise across the company, to build a rich content library and calendar that will build brand recognition, engage prospects and customers, and develop qualified leads for sales.
Here are some things you can expect to accomplish in this role:
Design and execute year long content strategy by conducting a content gap analysis to identify needs to support SEO, marketing, and regional efforts.
Create and own the BetterLesson Marketing monthly content calendar, defining informative and timely content themes that align with the elements and areas of focus across our product catalog.
Manage and build the BetterLesson Marketing thought leadership library, including whitepapers, webinars, case studies, podcasts, video, etc. to support partner conversations.
Create visually compelling and cohesive design elements (such as images, graphics, and videos) that align with the brand identity and effectively communicate key messages across various marketing channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and offline materials.
Develop and manage a creative framework to collaborate with cross-functional teams to build our content library around the topics driving new business growth for each of our elements. Provide data and insights back to these teams to help inform content focus and topics for future content.
Develop and implement social media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation, ensuring consistent messaging across all social platforms.
Deliver monthly reporting of content marketing initiatives that communicate the value of our content strategy and celebrate the contributions of our broader team members.
About You:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or equivalent work experience.
You have demonstrable success in content marketing and communications in the K-12 market.
You have advanced knowledge of high performance content strategies suitable for business to business (B2B) organizations.
You are proficient in design programs including or similar to; Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Canva, AfterEffects.
You are proficient in content and project management systems including or similar to WordPress, Hubspot, Asana, SEMRush, Confluence, and Wordstream.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
