This position of a Provider Representative is responsible for maintaining schedules of the active providers working temporary assignments with CompHealth. The Provider Representative will work internally to make the match between the client and the provider.
Responsibilities
- Responds to provider inquiries regarding traveling opportunities, and temp to perm positions
- Acts as single point of contact for providers coordinating all aspects of provider sales and service
- Recruit new providers and past providers to cover losses and grow provider pool
- Negotiates contract terms with provider within team guidelines
- Consults with risk management, human resources and/or team leader regarding employee matters outside of their expertise
- Persuades existing providers to contract for additional days with CompHealth
- Establishes and maintains communication and rapport with providers to encourage a long-term working relationship with CompHealth
- Accurately communicates client requirements and job description to ensure a proper match
- Facilitates placement of providers into client’s medical facility by matching provider skill level, licenses, preferences, board status and credentials
- Collaborates with Client Representative in filling open jobs within appropriate profit margin range
- Documents all conversations in FOX
- Maintains appropriate amount of provider contact to ensure assignment is running smoothly and to address any concerns pro-actively
- Maintains updated provider database and funnel
- Ensures completion of QI information
- Ensures completeness of assignment related tasks; travel, housing, payroll, licensing and credentialing
- Accurately manipulate information utilizing a large-scale database system
- Professional level written and oral communications skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Experience in provision of customer service
- Communicate and understand professional level service needs, provider credentials and client practices
- Understand and interpret financial data as well as compute profit margins
- Persuade and influence verbally and in writing
- Manage time effectively and devise and achieve work goals independently
- Minimum of one-year experience in the direct sales of products or services
- College level education
Preferred
- Experience in the sale of professional services
- Experience in the health care industry
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $50,000 -- $235,000 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
