We are searching for a talented, driven and exceptionally motivated Graphic Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work within the marketing team, working directly with the Lead Designer, and reporting into the Director of Brand and Partnerships. You will also work cross-functionally with our Operations and Technology folks. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual to interpret and maintain the brand look and feel of our creative assets. The Graphic Designer is responsible for working with the Brand and Marketing teams to ensure that the website communicates all content in the most creatively effective way adhering to our brand guidelines.
You will also be required to assist with building creative for email campaigns, social platforms, and in-store POP and other marketing collateral.
You must be someone who is a master at juggling multiple projects while managing tight timelines. Experience with working with an agency is a plus.
You will work Part-Time to start, working a set scheduled amount of days per week. Opportunity for Full-Time can be reviewed at a later date.
Hourly wage: $25/hr
Main Responsibilities
Design creative assets that results in conversions, is responsive, optimized, standards-based and cross-browser compatible (desktop, mobile, and tablet)
Create/update templates including paid ads, social posts for improved conversion
Utilize and interpret design guidelines and brand standards
Produce design assets for use in social media and other marketing channels.
Collaborate with Lead Graphic Designer, UX, marketing, development, and other teams.
Utilize data and analytics in making design decisions and be comfortable running A/B testing.
Work with dev team to deploy designs.
Translate low fidelity wireframes and prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate high level design strategies.
Maintaining and updating our website graphics and visuals.
Provide monthly reports on competitive landscape.
Assisting in creating video content and editing videos for various platforms (social platforms, video presentations)
Develop professional knowledge of Befitting brand, culture and processes acting as brand custodian for all identity assets.
Attend and actively participate in meetings related to assigned projects and marketing campaigns and projects.
Work with the team in implementing and maintaining brand intent, design quality and business objectives to strengthen the Befitting brand.
Stay abreast with current design trends and software.
Manage and work with Brand Team to keep files and image library organized
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or college diploma in a related field
3+ years working in-house or agency side as a web graphic designer
Total mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Experience in designing for the web, specifically e-commerce websites
Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook or the Google equivalent.
An awesome online portfolio of work with examples of web pages (e-commerce preferred), email campaigns, banner ads, social media content and other art created for digital use
A modern design aesthetic current with creative trends
Ability to perform well under pressure and under short deadlines
Familiarity with the use of typography and grids
Passion about design in general with a great understanding of color palettes, gradients, and flat
Experience with CMS platforms (Shopify, WordPress but bonus points for Magento knowledge)
Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
Knowledge of Premier Pro or After Effects is a huge plus.
Familiarity of Magento 2, Figma, scrum framework, Jira application is a plus
Good understanding of search engine optimization principles
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where daily challenges occur, and volumes can be heavy.
Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
