This position is full remote and based in the US.


Context


GitGuardian is a global post series B ($56M) cybersecurity scale-up.


Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Docker co-founder / CTO Solomon Hykes 👀. As well as American and European top-tier VC firms.


We develop a source code security platform for the DevOps generation. Our solutions are already used by more than 300K individuals across the world (Software Developers, DevOps Engineers, Application Security / Threat Response teams, …)


GitGuardian has a content-rich marketing strategy fueling its marketing funnel. We develop long-form and short-form content in all types of formats. We aim at delivering value to our audience by providing technically accurate content in a very educational manner.


Looking for a passionate Technical Content Writer, we will boost our production of shorter-form assets!


Missions


As a Content Writer, you will develop high-quality marketing content about our products and related topics, to drive customer acquisition and company growth. You’ll join a content team of technical writers, a cyber researcher, developer advocates and report to the CMO.


Here are the main projects you would work on for the year to come:


  • Producing relevant short form and infographic technical marketing content and making it viral!
  • Creating new content, transforming the existing (eg: Secret management maturity model, State of secret sprawl, …) and disseminating it into viral formats.
  • Handling the full process of planning, writing and publishing content in multiple formats (blogs, infographics, white papers, newsletters, bylines, social media content) about our products and related topics.
  • Working with internal / external writers and in-house designer.
  • Having a clear understanding of our product journey (our prospect’s pain points and how our product solves it), to produce relevant content to our audience and which reflects their needs, while keeping in mind the SEO & SEA strategy.


Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the developer’s ecosystem (particularly Github).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in content marketing in a technical environment.
  • Knowledge of trends on social media communications, algorithms and best practices.
  • Creative in terms of new formats, shorts, infographics and other bite sized contents.
  • Excellent writing skills, your work combines precision and readability.
  • English-Native speaker.
  • Software development skills and experience is a huge plus!
