Actual Job Title: Social Media Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking an organized multitasker, creative thinker and skilled communicator who has a proven track record supporting social media strategy and execution to join our team as the Coordinator, Social Media Marketing. This role requires a detailed understanding of publishing tools, social media metrics, and native platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, TikTok and beyond). The ideal candidate will be proactive, have impeccable attention to detail, and a strong understanding of social media marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administrative Support
Assist with promotional sweepstakes execution and prize fulfilment. Collect and organize User Generated Content (UGC) and creative assets. Update documents such as content calendars and influencer partnership content, schedules, and metrics as needed. Manage the creation and submission of briefs for content collection through third party platforms such as Social Native.
• Organic Social Content Coordination
Schedule and tag monthly social content within Hootsuite. Research relevant hashtags for use in social content, submit for marketing & legal approvals, and keep an up-to-date list. Manage UGC collection from Facebook submissions and posts to page. Collect UGC through Instagram and acquire & submit all appropriate usage consent.
• Community Management
Work with social moderation agency to escalate any outstanding issues to customer service and update response matrix as necessary. Engage with pet owners via comments on owned channels such as Instagram, Facebook & TikTok.
• Collaboration
Work with Social media and greater marketing team to brainstorm and ideate fresh ways to reach and acquire new pet owners via owned and paid channels. Support social media teams on additional projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
• 1+ years experience in social media marketing
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Animal health and/or pet owner marketing experience preferred
