Health Futures is seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for working closely with clients, both internal and external stakeholders, to understand their requirements, design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, and create seamless user experiences. Additionally, you will collaborate with the development team, providing them with detailed specifications and guidelines to ensure the successful implementation of your designs.

Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration:

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their vision, and identify user interface and user experience design goals.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback from stakeholders to inform the design process.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to refine and fine-tune UI/UX designs based on their feedback, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

User Interface and User Experience Design:

• Create visually compelling and intuitive user interface designs, considering usability, accessibility, and user experience principles.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts, interactions, and user flows.
• Apply user-centered design methodologies to create seamless and delightful user experiences.

Detailed Specifications:

• Translate UI/UX designs into detailed specifications and guidelines for the development team, including layout, colors, typography, interactive elements, and user flow diagrams.
• Work closely with developers to ensure proper implementation of UI/UX designs, providing support and clarifications when needed.
• Collaborate with the development team to address any design-related issues and provide solutions.

Design Standards and Best Practices:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Maintain and contribute to the development of design standards, style guides, and design systems.
• Advocate for best practices in UI/UX design, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.

Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Experience working directly with internal and external stakeholders, gathering requirements, and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

Technical Knowledge:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create feasible and implementable designs.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create designs that work seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.

Attention to Detail:

• Strong attention to detail to create pixel-perfect designs and provide accurate specifications to the development team.
• Ability to think critically and consider various user scenarios to ensure usability, accessibility, and a cohesive user experience.

Problem-Solving and Creativity:

• Ability to analyze complex design problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills to balance stakeholder requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.
