Position Summary
The Marketing Writer will be responsible for creating innovative sales & marketing collateral and brand assets to be duplicated across Capital Rx’s digital channels and social media, blog, newsletters, and print and email marketing campaigns. The Marketing Writer will report to the Content & Communications Strategy Lead.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide creative support for strategic marketing campaigns through written and creative assets in alignment with plans from marketing managers, which may include deliverables such as eBooks, emails, social media posts and ads, pop-up ads, and other similar materials.
- Optimize and test copy across customer segments.
- Create and polish messaging platforms for products and services based on information derived from marketing and product managers.
- Write copy for social media posts for Capital Rx’s LinkedIn company page, manage the monthly social media calendar, and interact with graphic artists to complete the production of posts.
- Develop compelling copy for website and landing pages to engage and convert prospective customers.
- Manage the company’s award program, including the collection of information to support applications, drafting submissions, managing submission deadlines, and gaining the approval of key internal stakeholders.
- Draft and/or edit press releases, executive statements, media replies, RFP language, and other copy to support needs across the business.
- 4+ years' experience in creative copywriting and messaging.
- Experience with marketing, communications, or other creative writing. Exposure to or experience working with a health care company or writing for health care clients – preferably in the pharmaceutical supply chain - would be a plus but is not a requirement.
- Strong attention to detail through editing and ability to apply insights from data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiar with or willing to learn systems such as Asana, Oktopost, and Webflow.
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the NY - based position. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, knowledge, and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
