Seemplicity is adding a talented and experienced Content Marketing Manager/Content Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will own the creation and execution of our content marketing strategy, telling our unique story and supporting our company's go-to-market objectives, driving engagement, customer acquisition, and ongoing customer success.
The Opportunity
You will have the autonomy to generate and execute ideas for high-impact content and activation in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a creative content marketing strategy that drives traffic, leads, and sales, while showcasing our thought leadership and unique perspective.
- Create, publish, and promote engaging content for earned, paid, shared, and owned channels in diverse formats, including written, visuals, video, webinars, and podcasts.
- Define and optimize KPIs to improve the content strategy and measure its success.
- Manage the editorial calendar and content distribution.
- Leverage current market trends and deliver measurable content + activation for our target audiences.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize content for search rankings.
- Partner with the marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all content.
- Provide proofreading and editing support for various content forms, including product marketing copy, demand generation copy (such as landing pages and email), and social posts.
- Participate in creating a style guide to maintain brand consistency.
- Minimum of 5 years of content creation experience, with a strong track record in cybersecurity. Startup experience a must.
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, editing skills, and iterative content strategy.
- Subject matter expert with passion for influencing/driving a narrative via multiple content forms: written, visual (e.g., graphics, charts, videos), spoken (e.g., podcasts, webinars), etc.
- Fluent in leveraging emerging content marketing technology, including AI-based tools
- Understands concepts of buyer personas, customer journey, and marketing-sales funnel.
- Knowledge of on-page (i.e., content) SEO best practices and optimization
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Highly motivated and passionate with excellent EQ, curiosity, creativity, flexibility, and strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to use data to inform content decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or similar field preferred.
