The Opportunity
The Senior User Experience Designer is primarily responsible for all areas of UI and UX design, including interaction design, visual design and user research. This position is also responsible for collaborating closely with Business Owners, Project Sponsors, Product Owners, Software Engineers and Business Analysts through the entire lifecycle of the product. Under the supervision of the Application Developer Manager, this position will ensure designs and products created meet business needs, user needs, provide a great user experience, and are innovative and creative. This position will also contribute to the creating and maintenance of appropriate UI/UX standards, guidelines, and practices.
The Day-to-day
- Working directly with the Clients, Business Team, and Management to develop wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and various types of screen flow
- Direct management of the CDN (Content Delivery Network)
- Developing new usability testing methodologies for the current product development cycle
- Overseeing the entire process of prototype development from the UI perspective
- Making and approving decisions on improving product designs and development
- Develop out-of-the-box solutions for advanced custom application
- Plan, Test, and Implement the latest UIUX toolsets in our Azure DevOps (cloud development) development pipelines.
- Create and Manage interactive tutorial training sessions.
- Plan, Test, and Implementation of micro interactions in new custom development products using .NET Core
- Conducting detailed usability testing and heuristic evaluations
- Plan, Test, and Implementation of designs that are optimized for a variety of mobile devices and platforms.
- Developing baseline C# code set for UI/UX mobile development
- Defining and documenting design standards, guidelines, and patterns to ensure a consistent user experience across products and platforms
- Analyzing clients' and business owners' feedback to inform the design of intuitive and engaging interfaces and mobile devices
- Lead "Working UI/UX Sessions" for new custom applications
You Have
Experience is preferred in the following technical areas. (Note that not all areas are strictly required.)
- 8+ years of experience of professional experience in UI/UX Design
- 5+ years of experience with Adobe CC and other industry standard wireframing tools
- Expert level ability in responsive design and cross-browser and cross-platform design issues (Microsoft Edge and Chrome Browser)
- Expert level ability to write HTML 5
- Expert level ability to write CSS 3
- Expert level ability in Bootstrap 3.0, 4,0, and 5.0
- Expert level ability Xarmin 5.0 development for UI/UX
- Working knowledge of JavaScript
- Working knowledge of iOS App UI/UX Designs
- Expert level in templating and theming
- Ability to manage own work for multiple cross functional teams
- Analyze project requirements and translate into UI/UX design tasks
- Proven experience with application implementation and integration of UI/UX elements
- Knowledge of Agile Development Process (e.g. SCRUM)
- You are a hardworking UI/UX Expert who is able to communicate complex design concepts with clarity to non-technical audiences. While passionate about technology and design, you have a strong business sensibility and an ability to connect well with clients/customers
- You are comfortable analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts
- You are comfortable developing cloud and/or on premise web-based software solutions with complex application development and testing
- You have a proven ability to connect with internal clients/customers
- You perform through testing, ensures that all code meets specifications and is easily maintainable and well documented
- You have the ability to pay close attention to details, occasionally for prolonged periods of time and under restrictive deadlines, and complete work assignments logically and accurately

The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
