Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Utilize AI-based writing tools and platforms to generate initial drafts of online articles on various topics.
Collaborate with product managers and media buyers to review and refine AI-generated drafts, ensuring accuracy, proper keyword placements, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
Edit and proofread articles to improve overall quality, consistency, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
Conduct thorough fact-checking and source verification to ensure the reliability and credibility of the content.
Develop and maintain editorial standards, style guides, and best practices for AI-generated content.
Work closely with the product and media buying teams to brainstorm and generate ideas for new articles and topics that align with our content strategy.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and developments in AI-powered content creation and implement innovative approaches to enhance content quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with the technology team to identify and address any technical issues or limitations related to AI-generated content.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness and impact of AI-generated articles.
Study media buying keyword trends and generate content to fill voids in topic coverage areas.
Skills & Background
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
Proven experience as an editor or proofreader in a digital publishing environment.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies.
Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high editorial standards.
Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and other editorial tools.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines is a plus.
Adaptability and willingness to learn and explore new technologies and methodologies in AI-driven content creation.
Experience in digital marketing preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to learn about OBMedia’s business and think strategically and analytically about our services and presenting those to potential clients
Proficiency in office productivity tools (Google Suites applications)
