The Position:

As a Content Manager at GameChanger, you will play a pivotal role in devising and implementing impactful content initiatives to attract and expand our product's reach among our key target audiences. We are searching for a proactive, well-rounded, and highly experienced content marketer who recognizes the fundamental importance of a robust and cohesive strategy aligned with revenue objectives as the foundation for successful campaign launches. We are seeking a team member who is eager to make a meaningful impact at any stage of the customer and user journeys.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Visual Communications and Content, and will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to shape and deliver compelling content that resonates with our audiences. You will contribute to shaping the brand's narrative, drive engagement, and support the overall growth and success of GameChanger. This is a contract position with our organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with GameChanger’s key business objectives, focusing on attracting and engaging target audiences across our user ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and amplify the unique value proposition of GameChanger, ensuring consistent messaging across various platforms.
  • Create and curate compelling, high-quality content for diverse channels, including our website, blog, social media, email campaigns, and more.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify industry trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform content strategy.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user experience, maximizing organic traffic and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and insights, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in sports, digital marketing best practices, and content management tools, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content marketing, preferably in the technology or sports industry.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt writing style to various platforms and audiences.
  • Proficiency in utilizing content management systems, analytics tools, and SEO practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, capable of translating business objectives into compelling content strategies.

This is a 3 month contract with the potential to extend, target salary range is $40-$50 per hour. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
