The Koddi Ads team is looking for a Head of Business Development based in our Austin, Fort Worth, Ann Arbor, or New York City office. This person will build and drive our relationships with strategic partners with the goal of launching new revenue streams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. A real passion for people and relationships is paramount.


What You Will Do


  • Build and manage relationships with ad tech platforms, cloud platforms, publishers, and travel booking platforms
  • Continuously look for ways to bring new and innovative offerings to market to keep Koddi ahead of the competition
  • Strategize and report on our progress towards building great business engagements with partner prospects
  • Develop and execute the overall business development strategy to expand our presence and revenue opportunities within the ecommerce industryIdentify and prospect potential partnership opportunities with ecommerce platforms, online retailers, and relevant technology providers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to develop compelling value propositions and partnership initiatives
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities within ecommerce
  • Maximize our NPS with every partner you touch


What Skills And Experience You Bring


  • 8+ years of experience in business development in adtech and commerce/retail media
  • Possess a strong passion for formulating innovative new technologies solutions with partners
  • You have a strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative partnership strategies
  • Deep understanding of the ecommerce ecosystem, including platforms, marketplaces, and online retail trends
  • You excel at all levels of a partner engagement, from the day-to-day to the executive suite
  • Ability to balance the needs of the partner with Koddi’s needs and find solutions that move us both forward
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Confident professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who is not afraid to ask “why?” and provide a solution
  • Highly communicative, have a strong sense of personal responsibility, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment
  • You take smart risks and champion new ideas
