Senior Copywriter


This copywriter will partner with the Marketing organization and cross functional teams to manage content, voice and all promotional language with consistency and accuracy. As one of the primary storytellers, this person will contribute to Skin Laundry's voice through a variety of projects, ranging from product storytelling, campaign conceptualization, blog copy, CRM, Social and website copy.


The ideal candidate will be proficient in long and short form copy writing, the ability to take complex concepts/technologies and craft them into understandable educational marketing concepts + compelling brand stories. This person will also have the ability to write catchy aspirational copy that grabs attention and compels people to open emails to learn more about SL products and services.


Skills & Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience writing for consumer facing brands (preferably in the beauty industry)
  • A true wordsmith w a mastery of grammar and the English language
  • Take complex concepts/technologies and turn them into everyday consumer language that is understandable for the general public
  • Experience in research and development around the skin science industry
  • Craft strong, action oriented emails, subject lines, stories and CTA's on a daily basis
  • Turn marketing and business objectives into engaging and consumer friendly online content
  • Understand the competitive landscape and adjust accordingly
  • Strengthen and reinforce brand voice at every opportunity
  • Edit social copy to ensure there is a cohesive story telling voice and marries content across all channels succinctly
  • Ability to present creative ideas
  • Strong writing, grammar and editing skills and ability to write copy for different audience segments


Compensation Target: $65,000 - $65,000K
