Our team is looking for a marketing copywriter who can write high-quality content that cuts through the noise and invites customers into the StoryBrand and Business Made Simple ecosystem. This position is a 3-month, 40-hour/week contract starting in September or October of 2023.
This person will be tasked with creating marketing copy for every level of the marketing funnel (lead generators, website landing pages, drip email campaigns, etc.) for all products. This role reports to the Director of Marketing to ensure all efforts are aligned with our overall Sales and Marketing strategy.
This person is also constantly perfecting the customer journey. They will improve existing copy and create new copy that guides customers through a flawless user experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
This position owns the creation of high-priority marketing content needs, including but not limited to these writing tasks:
Landing page copy for product pages and lead generator pages
Email copy for sales and nurture campaigns
Promo video scripts
Content creation for organic social media
Lead-generating content (PDFs, email sequences, video scripts, etc.) that is aligned with marketing goals
Writing podcast titles and descriptions
Blog posts for StoryBrand and Business Made Simple
Coordinate the creation of content to hit lead targets for top products (Coach, Guide, Business Made Simple platform, Flight School)
Evaluate the effectiveness of content and messaging to inform future lead-generation efforts
Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand to ensure brand consistency
Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
Contribute to the company-wide lead-generation strategy, creating the content required to execute on that strategy
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Proven work experience in copywriting, content creation, and marketing
Great understanding of the StoryBrand Messaging Framework
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Be able to pivot and hit tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
