Customer Support Specialist - Part Time

The Customer Support Specialist position requires a strong customer focus and commitment to improve processes in a team environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for contributing to the growth of a rising organization. This position is to cover the hours of 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm Eastern time in order to provide support to customers in later time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer requests via phone, email, live chat and virtual meetings
  • Keep careful records of customer activity in data entry tools
  • Identify and manage customer issues and feedback in order to effectively deliver information to the right channels
  • Contribute to customer retention efforts and other designated outreach assignments
  • Knowledge Base content creation

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED, college experience a plus
  • Prior experience in a customer support role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including prior data entry experience
  • Ability to multitask
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to adapt schedules based on season and volume.
