WHY WE NEED YOU? GLAD YOU ASKED...
In this role, youâll be tasked with designing and creating functional, beautiful interfaces for Applications within our growing Global TV Apps department. This role will include graphic elements for iPTV, VOD, other digital platforms and television. From time to time you will also be responsible for coding web-based motion graphics for automated data products, using HTML-CSS and Javascript technology or other vector animation tools. Youâll work closely with both external and internal clients to produce a product that provides an awesome experience for our users.
WHAT'S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?
- Getting âcreativeâ is your thing! You will conceptualize, create and develop new and innovative graphic elements to be distributed on our various Platforms.
- Ensure all projects are completed on spec and on time.
- Assist in the adaptation and development of existing processes for greater efficiency and improved quality within the Graphics department.
- Ability to storyboard design concepts.
- You know what our users want!
- You will create animations that will appeal to everyone.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other team members in design, promotions and production.
- Assess needs of both internal and external clients when completing all projects.
- Research industry trends and best practices.
- Youâre always one step ahead! Your work will be on point and ready for on air presentation.
- You bring fresh perspectives and ideas to every project.
Roles, responsibilities and duties may evolve and change over time.
WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE..
- College diploma in Graphics Design/Animation or Fine Arts.
- You have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in graphics for video and web.
- Excellent knowledge of Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, HTML\CSS and Javascript or other vector animation tools e.g. Lottie Files, Three.js.
- Strong understanding of contemporary user focused design principles. UX and/or user testing experience is an asset.
- Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset
- Creative/Artistic/Drawing skills is a huge plus!
