Our client in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Web Migration Specialist to play an important role in the process of migrating various websites from one CMS to another while preserving the website's content, scheme, and functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of recent experience in roles related to web migrations, digital marketing, or comparable positions.
- Comfort with operating within a dynamic, fast-paced, and globally dispersed enterprise environment.
- Required Skills and Expertise:
- Proficiency in working with a range of content management systems (CMS), including familiarity WordPress as a requirement, and exposure to other platforms like Umbraco, Joomla, Drupal, HubSpot, SiteCore, DNN, Optimizely, or Kentico as a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully migrating web websites across various platforms.
- Strong technical proficiency working with multiple CMS platforms, including web development languages (HTML, CSS), and migration utilities.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and principles of SEO/SEM, with knowledge of best practices.
- Exceptional project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to meticulously organize and audit content and data.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address technical hurdles and unforeseen complications during migration projects.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and simplifying technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools for post-migration performance monitoring and analysis.
- Adaptability and a commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in CMS platforms, technologies, and trends.
- A strong emphasis on critical thinking.
- A solid sense of design for content layout and visual elements.
