- Help define & champion Lantern’s target audiences, messaging, and positioning
- Create and develop content to share across various marketing channels with a focus on increasing followers and fundraising
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Navigate complex social and political environments and maintain cultural sensitivity in an international market
- Improve conversion rates, including landing pages, upgrade pages, renewal pages, and any other touchpoint for our products
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Create and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and analyses of internal results
- Leverage network and develop strategies to promote fundraising efforts
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing with a fundraising focus
- Previous exposure to a Marketing role, ideally within a b2c technology environment
- Knowledge of graphic design and media editing software preferred
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment, setting objectives, and prioritizing activities based on impact
- Independent, self-motivated, and proactive. You don’t require constant input, and you have meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication, management, interpersonal skills
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to navigate complex social and political environments
- Highly curious, you are always wanting to know the “why” behind actions
- Ability to transform data into insights
- You are fluent in English, and are an effective communicator and writer
