We're looking for a talented and dedicated Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a Software Development Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop cutting-edge solutions, and contribute to the evolution of our software offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of developers, business analysts, and project managers to design, develop, and deliver software products and solutions.
- Play a crucial role in enhancing our Digital Imaging Solution and Customer Success software solutions.
- Contribute to solution development and delivery using our products and platforms.
- Participate in the software review process, which includes analyzing software design, functionality, and performance.
- Embrace Agile practices to incrementally and iteratively deliver results.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to fellow developers using our software.
- Offer expert guidance to the Customer Success support team when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science discipline is required, along with 3-5 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in basic scripting (VB or JS) and programming languages (.Net, Java, .COM, XML).
- Basic knowledge of SQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DB2) and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with IIS, Certificates, Web Application, Internet Connectivity, Network Monitoring, VM.
- Experience with JIRA and Salesforce for creating support tickets is a plus.
- Minimum Of 1 Year Of Support Experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and analyze application logs.
- Effective priority management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic: reliable, responsible, flexible, professional, patient, and hardworking.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Capable of planning and delivering training.
- Expertise in Canon Software and related technologies is highly desirable.
