General Summary
We are looking for an experienced PHP developer with mid to advanced level programming skills. Your primary focus will be developing user-facing web applications and components using select PHP frameworks as well as Drupal and WordPress CMS. You will coordinate with other team members, including back-end developers, QA, and UX/UI designers. Your commitment to team collaboration, excellent communication, and a quality product is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining user-facing applications using custom PHP, Drupal, and WordPress.
- Full Stack development with PHP in cooperation with the development team.
- Building modular and reusable components and libraries.
- Optimizing your application for performance.
- Working with QA to implement automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows as needed.
- Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the PHP space.
- Develop interactive web pages with Drupal, WordPress, and PHP frameworks.
- 2+ years of proven work experience
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Good communications skills and the ability to work with programming and non-programming agency teams.
- Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms.
- Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean PHP code.
- Familiarity with automated testing.
- Proficiency with modern development tools, like Git.
- Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs.
- Must have strong, well considered, opinions of who would win a fight between King Kong and Godzilla.
