Digital Marketing Manager



SUMMARY:


AllCampus is growing, and we need to add to our Pay Per Click (PPC) team. We’re looking for a talented and energetic new teammate who is not just experienced in managing successful paid search and/or paid social campaigns but who also gets excited about pushing limits and pioneering new opportunities in digital marketing.


The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing PPC campaigns that generate leads and, ultimately, students for our non-profit university partners. Strong candidates will have demonstrated tactical and strategic excellence creating and managing successful paid search and/or paid social campaigns. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded individual who brings a human-centered creativity, passion for data, and curiosity about new tools and technology. We are looking for a team player motivated to deliver exceptional results for a rapidly growing organization.


The PPC team is made up of talented, passionate marketers who are also part of a larger Digital Marketing team. As a whole, the Digital Marketing team is the engine for driving high-quality interest and leads for AllCampus’ university partners.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategically develop and manage campaigns across multiple advertising platforms, e.g. Google, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Spotify, etc.
  • Optimize media campaigns through the management of bids/budgets, media mix, location targeting, keywords, audiences, device, ad copy, etc. with the goal of obtaining the most leads of the highest quality.
  • Provide stewardship over program budgets, ensuring pacing towards targets, and manage budget changes to maximize ROI for a portfolio of higher-ed programs.
  • Draft compelling ad copy that adheres to strategic and technical considerations as well as brand guidelines.
  • Implement well-designed A/B or multivariate tests to enhance campaign performance; apply results towards broader strategic insights and the creation of new best practices.
  • Develop client-facing reports and presentations and, in turn, present them to key stakeholders with varied knowledge and experience.



EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Academic background in business, marketing, or stats is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience with PPC advertising, specifically paid search (e.g. Google, Bing) or paid social (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn.). Experience in both is preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; ability to craft short, impactful messages.
  • Fluency with numbers; ability to use data to build compelling strategies and arguments.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply tools to unique and creative use cases.
  • Ability to prioritize and self-direct daily tasks for maximum impact in coordination with higher-level guidance.

Preferred:

  • Experience in non-PPC areas of digital marketing (SEO, email, etc.) or strategy.
  • Certifications on digital marketing platforms, e.g. Google Search or Display Ads.
  • Experience in the education marketing space or other lead-generation industry.
  • Experience with PPC management platforms such as Marin, Skai, Search Ads 360, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization software, e.g. Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Abilities in a scripting language such as JavaScript or Python.


The salary range for this role is $53,200 - $79,900.


Chicagoland area candidates preferred, remote options available.
