We are looking for a creative and highly organized Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing our digital content strategy. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about storytelling, content creation, and digital marketing, and are dedicated to enhancing our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with our brand objectives and targets our audience effectively.
- Content Creation: Create and curate high-quality and engaging content for various digital channels, including the company website, social media, email, and other online platforms.
- SEO Optimization: Ensure that all digital content is optimized for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and organic traffic.
- Content Calendar: Maintain and update a content calendar to plan, schedule, and organize content publication and distribution.
- Audience Engagement: Monitor and respond to audience feedback and engagement across digital channels, fostering a sense of community and interaction.
- Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to track the performance of digital content, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize future content strategies.
- Multimedia Content: Oversee the creation of multimedia content, such as videos, infographics, and podcasts, in collaboration with designers and videographers.
- Email Marketing: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating compelling email content and tracking campaign performance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and IT, to ensure content is consistent with brand messaging and objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure all content complies with legal and regulatory requirements, such as copyright and data protection laws.
- Trends and Innovation: Stay updated on digital content trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative content strategies.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively within the content department's budget.
Ideally you bring the following attributes:- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in content management, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with an emphasis on creativity and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
- Data-driven and analytical mindset, with the ability to use analytics tools and interpret data.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative thinking and an innovative approach to content development.
- Adherence to brand guidelines and strong attention to compliance.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing digital landscape.
