ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Technical Project Manager coordinates and plans the management of large projects that rely on emerging technologies to deliver business value. You will work closely with a team of developers to deliver data projects such as modernizing data stacks or driving data driven cultures with sleek dashboards. You will need experience in and a passion for helping clients achieve their data analytics goals. You will be working with both business and technical users and stakeholders. The role requires excellent organization and communication skills to manage projects from initiation to a successful close.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will:
- Manage consulting projects throughout delivery stages from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring to the closure of the project
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients
- Prepare and conduct project kick-off meetings, weekly internal scrums, and client checkpoint meetings
- Diligently track project progress and monitor deliverables and timelines
- Be responsible for clearly communicating the project status to keep all parties aligned
- Identify team and project risks & blockers and work with the relevant stakeholders to mitigate them
- Work with the Bytecode project team to create a detailed project plan with a task breakdown
- Work closely with the Bytecode project team to ensure excellent project delivery
- Maintain project documentation and task tracking tools with all relevant project information
- Liaise with the wider Bytecode team to identify and resolve risks
- Have the ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Identify and develop process improvements following project management best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Project Management experience within the consultancy space
- Understanding of data analysis and experience using data visualization and business intelligence (BI) tools
- Experience with the Google Suite (Google Sheets, Documents, Slides)
- Knowledgeable of various agile methodologies and project tracking tools
- Demonstrated ability to balance priorities on simultaneous projects
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Ability to take initiative and manage projects with minimal oversight
Nice to have
- PMP or other know project management certification
- Nice to have - Experience in at least one of following: Kanban, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)
- Nice to have - Experience with tools such as Looker, Retool, Preset
