This position is part of the Sales Function and will be fully remote. You will be a part of the Inside Sales & Client Support Organization and report to the Manager, Inside Sales & Client Support.
As an Inside Sales Representative at Aldevron, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering client relationships. You will be a quota carrying member of the Sales Team, responsible for proactively engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our research grade (RG) products and manufacturing solutions. This role is a crucial link between our clients, our sales teams, and our company's offerings.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the following:
- Sales Quota Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and objectives by identifying opportunities, creating tailored sales strategies, and closing deals.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new leads and opportunities by researching and understanding the client base, market trends and customer demands.
- Client Engagement: Initiate and maintain effective communication with existing and potential research grade clients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and client meetings. Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to understand their unique requirements and challenges, then recommend appropriate products and manufacturing solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Aldevron products, services, and manufacturing solutions to effectively educate and advise clients on their benefits and applications.
- CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ‘Customer Relationship Management’ (CRM) system, ensuring all interactions are documented for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology) preferred.
- Proven inside sales experience, ideally within the life sciences or biotechnology industry.
- Strong understanding of cell and gene therapy concepts and technologies.
- Goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
