Our dynamic platform enables hospitals to fulfill personnel needs in real time, while allowing high-quality veterinary professionals to secure work at the click of a button. About The Role

As a Full Cycle Recruiter at Roo, you will be at the forefront of an exciting stage of growth, owning every aspect of the recruitment process for a variety of roles. From defining new positions and sourcing talent to creating an unparalleled candidate experience, you will be a key player in fueling our expansion and ensuring we have the best team in place.

This role reports to the Senior Director of People and while we operate on a primarily remote basis (with a hybrid option for Bay Area based employees), the ideal candidate will live inAL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, MN, NY, NC, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, and WA.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define and understand role requirements, ensuring alignment with Roo's growth objectives, mission and Core Values
  • Implement creative and effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier veterinary professionals, utilizing a mix of traditional and innovative methods
  • Build upon our existing interview process to craft a seamless and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding, reflecting both Roo's high performance standards and commitment to inclusivity
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their hiring needs and establish strong partnerships, contributing to a collaborative and supportive company culture
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative recruitment solutions to the table, contributing to the evolution of Roo's talent acquisition strategy and employer brand
  • Set and measure performance against key recruitment metrics, prioritizing an efficient, yet thorough and fair, hiring process


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Full Cycle Recruiter in a fast-paced environment, preferably at an early stage startup
  • Familiarity with the animal healthcare industry and a passion for making a positive impact a big plus!Demonstrated flexibility and resilience, able to thrive while operating at a fast pace
  • Motivated by having a measurable impact, and familiar with owning and/or driving functional KPIs
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.A creative mindset with a passion for finding new and effective ways to identify and attract top talent
  • Familiarity with the animal healthcare industry and a passion for making a positive impact a big plus!


Our listed salary range is based on the Bay Area, and will be adjusted based on a competitive benchmark for the relevant geographic region
