Do you have 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with an emphasis on websites that reinforce a clear and user-centric buyer journey? Our client is seeking a UX/UI Designer to be responsible for redefining their digital presence, and ensuring redesigned website crafts insightful and impactful connections, and aligns seamlessly with each stage of the buyer journey. Portfolio Note: In order to be considered, candidates must provide strong samples that emphasize redesign projects, focus on the buyer journey, showcase a problem-solving ethos, and tangible results.
You Will:
- Guide the UX/UI redesign with a comprehensive understanding of the buyer journey, ensuring designs meet users at each phase from awareness to decision-making
- Work integrally with SALs, CCSs, and product engineering, advocating for client needs, to ensure the website reflects the requirements and aspirations of our key stakeholders
- Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, predicting potential issues within the buyer journey, and crafting detailed design documentation for clarity and direction
- Maintain a results-driven approach, focusing on how users traverse the buyer journey on our platform. Gather feedback and iterate on the design to enhance user conversion
- Stay attuned to industry standards related to UX design for e-commerce and lead generation, ensuring our website assists users at every touchpoint of their journey
- Review & QA: Partner with the product engineering team, ensuring their implementation mirrors the intended design and buyer journey experience from start to finish
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in UX design, graphic design, or a related field. Advanced degrees or training are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years experience in UX/UI design, with an emphasis on websites that reinforce a clear and user-centric buyer journey
- Demonstrable understanding of the buyer journey and how design can impact user behavior and decisions
- Expertise in the latest design software and prototyping tools
- A portfolio that emphasizes redesign projects, focusing on the buyer journey, showcasing a problem-solving ethos, and tangible results
- A history of effective cross-team collaboration, especially with product engineering teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
Logistics:
- Start Date/Duration: Starting ASAP and working through June 2024 and possibly extended
- Hours/Week: 40 Hours/Week
- Onsite/Offsite: Remote working roughly ET or CT hours (*Must be based in the US)
