What you’ll work with
- Maintain our existing codebase that serves hundreds of thousands of users daily
- Implement new features with an eye on delivering impact and value to our users
What we expect from you
- 4+ years of experience with PHP, JavaScript and HTML
- You are comfortable with legacy codebases as well as the latest tools and technologies
- Experience with at least one of these frameworks: Angular, AngularJS or VueJS
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Ability to write and optimize complex queries in MySQL
- Knowledge of Redis and queues
- Can work across codebases and platforms
- Ability to write clean code with test coverage
- Ability to build scalable applications
- Love for complex, advanced codebases
- Self-starter with an investigative mindset for thinking out of the box
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- A sense of personal responsibility
Bonus skills:
- Familiarity with other languages (NodeJS, Golang, Ruby)
- Knowledge of any PHP framework (we mostly use Laravel)
- Familiarity with ElasticSearch

- Yearly gross salary range: $55,000-$75,000
