Before co-founding Little Otter, she served as Chair of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Director of the Child Study Center at NYU Langone Health & Division Chief for Child Psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine. The Role: Clinical Recruiter

Little Otter is the first digital mental health platform focused on providing end to end care to children 0-14 and their families. Little Otter is scaling quickly to meet the demand across the US and address the child mental health crisis.By joining the Little Otter team at this stage you will help shape both the short and long term strategy of Little Otter, having a critical impact on our company's success. This individual will have an opportunity to collaborate with multiple partners across the organization, playing a crucial role in scaling a fast-growing startup.

We are looking for a driven and organized individual to meet Little Otter's hiring goals by leading full-cycle recruitment for all clinical roles including Mental Health Therapists (LCSWs, LMFTs, PsyDs, etc.) and Psychiatrists. You will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, and presenting and negotiating job offers. This role will play a critical part in reaching both our near term as well as long term goals.

Salary Range:

$90k-$100k plus equity, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-touch experience for every candidate from application to offer, ensuring that candidates feel valued throughout the hiring process.
  • Proactively source, identify, evaluate skill level, and culture fit for all clinical roles.
  • Leverage established networks to attract diverse, ambitious talent to join our team.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to anticipate and address hiring needs, craft job descriptions, and ensure the hiring strategy is aligned with the business strategy.
  • Lead projects and strategies related to clinical recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Little Otter's mission to deliver high quality care.
  • Creatively develop recruitment strategies and materials, partnering with Marketing as needed.
  • Maintain effective and proactive communication to keep all partners informed throughout the process.
  • Masters and leverages marketing open positions across a variety of recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
  • Keep up to date with market trends, new technology, and approaches to best engage with clinical talent.
  • Travel to and participate in relevant hiring events, conferences as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You:

  • 2-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in hiring for Mental Health Therapists (LMFTs, LCSWs, PsyDs).
  • Comfortable taking ownership, prioritizing, getting things done, and working in a fast-paced startup environment with limited direction.
  • Proven experience with high volume recruiting and closing candidates.
  • Sourcing skills outside of Linkedin and Indeed.
  • A sense of urgency in candidate communication, scheduling, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, excellent learning agility, and a sincere passion for talent acquisition with the understanding of behavioral/mental health industry requirements (licenses, etc.).
  • Proven aptitude and experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and drive cross-functional understanding and cooperation across the business.
  • Trustworthy and able to work with sensitive data and information.
  • Experience with applications and tools such as Zoom, Greenhouse, Slack, Google Suite, and Notion.
  • Lives in California and is able to travel as needed (10%).
