We are seeking a talented Headless WordPress Developer to work with our team on a contract basis. As a Headless WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for debugging Headless WordPress websites using modern web development technologies.

The contract will start ASAP for a total of 80 hours over 3 weeks. Only those authorized to work and currently living in the US will be considered.

In this contract, you will:

  • Collaborate with our Development team to debug and troubleshoot Headless WordPress websites that deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Integrate WordPress with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Prismic, or Sanity
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Prior experience developing headless WordPress websites
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks (React, NextJS)
  • Knowledge of headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Prismic, or Sanity
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Prior experience working in an agency or freelancing environment is a plus
