Do you have a passion for industrial, automotive or powersports industries? AMSOIL INC., “The First in Synthetics" and a worldwide leader in lubrication technology, is searching for a skilled writer and content creator. This position will develop content that educates AMSOIL Dealers and the public about AMSOIL INC.; its products and sales programs; synthetic lubricant technology; and the industrial, automotive, heavy-duty, powersports and other relevant industries with the purpose of raising brand awareness and growing sales. Our writing staff writes and edits corporate communications to ensure they are compelling, professional and consistent with the AMSOIL brand and collaborates with other departments to develop materials consistent with corporate strategies. This position is flexible and can be fully remote or a hybrid remote/in-office at our corporate headquarters in Superior, Wisconsin.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop Print and Digital Content:
- Research and develop content for AMSOIL print and digital outlets, including informational and marketing emails, catalogs, web pages, video scripts, blog content, AMSOIL Magazine and other media.
- Collaborate with partners from Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Sales and other areas of the company to develop compelling content for AMSOIL print and digital outlets designed to energize and inform our independent Dealer network.
- Write, proofread, edit and publish content for AMSOIL websites and social media to help build brand awareness and loyalty.
- Work with AMSOIL Product Marketing and other personnel to create technical studies that accurately summarize key findings of product testing.
- Collaborate with coworkers to develop fresh, effective ideas for posters, digital ads, handouts, displays, videos and other promotional material.
Provide Writing and Editing Support:- Assist AMSOIL personnel in developing professional, effective content for trade shows, meetings, sales training and other events.
- Proofread and edit PowerPoint presentations, Dealer training documents, handouts and other content to communicate desired message while remaining faithful to the AMSOIL voice.
- Coordinate printing and delivery of important documents on time and up to standards.
Maintain Brand Consistency and Professionalism:- Develop a grasp of AMSOIL corporate writing style and apply to corporate communications accordingly.
- Edit content to ensure accurate reflection of AMSOIL brand.
- Proofread and edit communications to comply with AP style.
- Ensure all corporate communications reflect excellent writing quality.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ related work experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Able to present advanced technical concepts in an understandable fashion.
- Creativity to generate ideas for fresh, effective content.
- Demonstrated proficiency with written and oral communication
- Proficiency in using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to coordinate production of multiple corporate publications.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
