Boutique Mobile and Web Software Development company located in lower Hudson Valley, NY is seeking an iOS software developer, android experience a plus with 5+ years exp. and strong to join their team of mobile devs, web devs and ui/ux professionals.

You will be developing new web apps for their client and for proprietary use, as well as be involved in maintaining legacy code.At least one app on either the iTunes App Store is a must.

Must be able to understand all aspects of a typical business. They have all varieties of clients and need strong business skills.

Duties:

Responsibilities include the following:

• Development of mobile iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad) based apps and/OR Android based apps if you have both iOS and Android experience.
• Deal with clients data, feeds and designs.
• Co-operation with other development team members (e.g. Project manager, Web programmers, graphic designers, and authors, quality assurance) in the production of a finished product.
• Ability to work on project without detailed instructions; taking the initiative with this job is important.
• On-going maintenance of existing projects.
• Android developer will also Port many of their 100+ iPhone apps to Android

Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of the Apple iOS SDK, Android SDK a big plus
• Knowledge of XML and JSON a requirement
• Knowledge of SqlLite and a working experience in SQL databases
• Knowledge of HTML and Javascript a plus
• Coding standards, organizational programming skills and good commenting practices is important
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - required

Solid benefit package.

Salary up to 125K + bonus

Remote only but on-site is available

End client requires candidates to currently be living within approx. 75 miles of the Mario Cuomo/Tappan Zee Bridge. No exceptions
