The Marketing Specialist will assist in overall marketing efforts within the Sure Start Marketing program for the Trade Brands. This role is an integral part of the planning and execution of business pre-open and post-open marketing strategies aimed at viable leads to our newest franchise partners.
Responsibilities
Work with Sure Start Marketing Manager, Trade Brands Marketing Managers, operations teams, and greater Authority Brands team to outline, plan and execute strategic marketing plan and initiatives for the Trade Brands.
Help franchise partners develop and manage local marketing budgets.
Move projects from ideation through to completion, and track status of projects.
Be knowledgeable about trends in brands’ data including lead flow, booking rate, close rate, and other KPIs. Understand marketing’s contribution to these KPIs and actively contribute to their improvement with the marketing team.
Complete research and present recommendations for marketing naming conventions, based on franchise-partner local market needs and trends.
Help manage brands’ websites, including working with website partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy of brand information, approval of franchisee submitted content, implement franchisees’ requested changes, and new location website launches, digital footprint pieces and creative graphic requests.
Complete online presence audits to ensure consistency across online presence for franchise locations.
Support marketing team in the analysis of marketing performance and results and help communicate these to franchise partners and other teams.
Assist in onboarding new franchise partners and introduce them to the marketing system and available assets and strategies and provide ad hoc strategic support.
Develop and manage franchisee-facing content such as weekly meeting agendas, task checklists, training and other educational items.
Interact with franchise partners, vendors and internal teams, serving as a guide and project manager during their onboarding process. Develop best practices for cross-brand collaboration and sharing.
Qualifications

Comfortable with creating new processes, establishing organization and structure in environments without much existing process and structure.
Knowledge/understanding of digital marketing, including ability to interpret digital campaign results (SEO, PPC, remarketing, display).
