Experis IT is seeking a Sr. Software Developer for a top technology company. This position can be 100% remote at all times.

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with experience developing complex software solutions deployed to production. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, take-charge / can-do attitude and demonstrates flexibility and resiliency. The successful candidate must be self-sufficient and able to work without supervision. In addition, you will have experience translating high-level objectives directly into implemented solutions, demonstrating sound business acumen and decision making. You will be executing with minimal supervision, interacting with the Product Owner to get clarification on business needs and directions. In addition, experience soliciting input from other stakeholders is highly desired.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions to autogenerate files in support of a static site generator
  • Develop solutions to mine data from databases and client repositories
  • Develop solution on cockroach dB to query existing tables and populate new tables


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Python (5+ years)
  • Hands-on experience in API integration using Python
  • Hands-on experience with version control ( GIT rep), code versioning etc
  • Complete coding, testing, defect fixes, and production support, using agile CI/CD methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and conceptual thinking

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with frameworks such as MkDocs, Jekyll etc.
  • CockroachDB experience

Minimum Requirements: (Must have Qualifications)

1. Python Experience (5+ years)
2. API interface experience
3. Basic development experience (coding, testing, version control etc)
4. CRITICAL- translate high-level objectives into implemented solution

Desired Skills/Qualifications/System Experience requirements: (Nice to have Qualifications)
1. MKDocs experience
2. CockroachDb experience
