We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead Vroom’s demand generation effort, working alongside a talented team of designers, developers and data scientists. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, make a big impact, and help us scale Vroom’s business.

- You believe in the power of experimentation and are comfortable experimenting (and sometimes failing along the way) to achieve your goals - ambiguity is not a concern to you
- Bar raisers. Our team wants to be challenged and is looking for a PM to partner with them figuring out how to achieve goals faster and better
- We believe good product managers seek to understand the customer’s perspective and challenges and evangelize the customer’s needs in all decisions
- You are business-savvy; you get excited about new business opportunities and how you can help make them a reality
You also:
- Are an experienced product manager with a passion for technology - the person in this role is not just concerned about what we build, but how we build it
- Have digital experience in or related to product, and specifically 6+ years of product management experience
- Understand technical infrastructure and vision, and where you do not understand, you are not afraid to ask questions and seek to understand
- Have demonstrated ability to take high-level technical concepts and break them down into prioritized roadmaps and plans in partnership with engineering
- Are proficient at understanding data flow and data structure to power analytics and are competent at collecting, interpreting, and creating actionable insights from datasets
- Have demonstrated experience managing complex software and process development to achieve business objectives, particularly Agile development methodologies
- Relate well to colleagues in different areas of expertise; able both to direct and to influence others
- Solicit feedback and reflect on your own behavior and performance
- Are willing to travel to Detroit up to 20% of the time
And major bonus points for:
- Your ability to adapt communication style to audience: varying levels of seniority, disciplines, locations, and personality types
- Experience working at a startup
- Experience with AB testing
