The Role
We’re working on a website design project and we are looking for an illustrator to help us out! You’ll work with our design team to create an illustration style guide, along with 10-20 vector spot illustrations to use across the website.
Some illustrations will be literal ‘product demonstration’ type graphics (see the product demo illustrations on Pitch or Templafy for example), and others may be more symbolic illustrations, like a rocket ship. We’re looking for an illustration style that is flat and modern.
This will be a part-time contract role on an hourly basis. Our team is based remotely in Vancouver, Canada, and is flexible with where and how you prefer to work. Our timeline for the project is three months. If it works out, we have other website illustration projects for you as well!
What We’re Looking For
You should be comfortable leading the illustration style guide and working with a team of designers and a Product Owner. We primarily use Adobe Suite and Figma, and we are open to your tools as well. We’re looking for an illustrator who has experience working with stakeholders and has a good understanding of branding, vector illustrations, graphic and web design. It’s a bonus if you’ve worked with motion graphics before and could add motion to the illustrations.
