The Marketing Designer is a creative professional ready to enhance collaboration and strategy for our brand through understanding, innovating and building a stronger and more cohesive experience for our customers through all points of interaction via our website, social media, trade shows, catalogs and marketing campaigns.


This role offers the opportunity to build into the future of our brands, and requires a blend of creativity, marketing experience, and technical expertise .


The Marketing Designer plays a crucial role in innovating the brand’s presence both online and offline, ensuring quality output to create immersive experiences for our customers. The individual is responsible to collaborate, strategize and push the edge creatively to stay on trend. This role is suited for a motivated, flexible and skilled individual who thrives on change while creating visual content that is engaging and fun, able to work autonomously in a virtual setting, while collaborating with the team.


Requirements:


• Minimum of 5 years professional design experience


• Examples of a wide range of advertising and marketing projects demonstrated through your online portfolio.


• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Design, Visual Communications or equivalent


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and craft engaging content on brand websites: home page, sales promotions, landing pages and merchandising product collections, themes and brand story. Collaborate with developers and E-Commerce team to add features and enhancements to optimize user experience and conversion.
  • Create print and digital catalogs for various product lines from start to finish, coordinating with print vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Innovate and create a variety of print and digital advertisements that captivate audiences for the brand.
  • Develop marketing collateral for trade shows that excite, sell and portray the brand messaging, ex: promotional items, flyers banners and booth signage.
  • Craft sales presentations highlighting product features, collections, and marketing call-outs for the Sales team.
  • Coordinate and direct production with outside vendors and printers, ensuring clear expectations of timelines and budget and communicating required design specifications.
  • Manage, organize and update digital asset manager and photography and video content library.
  • Collaborate project timelines and creative strategy with other team members.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Light Room),
  • Experience orchestrating multi-page layouts utilizing InDesign Master Pages, with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in the design of substantial documents such as full-length catalogs or complex publications.
  • Demonstrates a strong use of design principles, including layout, typography, and visual hierarchy, to create compelling visual story telling.
  • Well rounded experience and proficiency using Shopify CMS front end tools including but not limited to: setting up and modifying discounts, collections, navigation, and updating various content in customizer.
  • Expertise in digital artwork creation, web optimization and understanding of file formats for various content including websites, newsletters, display ads and banners.
  • Comprehensive understanding of print production processes, including 4-color printing and pre-press file preparation.
  • Skilled in photo editing and manipulation, with a high level of attention to product and lifestyle imagery.
  • Proficient in producing vector graphics and illustrations for a variety of uses, particularly promotional merchandise, logo development and graphic call-outs.
  • The ability to mock up product renderings, planograms, and manipulate product photos to match product development.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing design assets and strategic input.
  • Able to receive and/or provide constructive criticism to/from peers and clients in a positive manner and apply it effectively to reach the desired goal.

Salary Range/Benefits:

  • $70,000/yr (starting base pay range)
