Senior UX Design/Information Architect
The client's iLab team is looking for a contract UX designer to join the team to help advance the development of our digital experiences. The role will bring their knowledge of human centered design best practices to improve the overall user experience and establish a scalable design system. The individual will be proficient in Figma and help to establish a design system that will enable scalability and growth for the development process.
Technical Must Haves:
Figma is an absolute MUST HAVE with 3-5 Years of UX Design experience.
Must have experience with web responsive design.
Need to have experience designing not just the application, but the design system components that go into the application.
Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Rebuild Invision prototype into Figma working closely with design lead
Construct Design System in Figma based on prototype:
Color | Font | Screen Templates | Iconography | Android Library
Establish Figma Team environment:
Setup collaboration for all HF team members
Ensure structure is ready to scale
Train design lead on use of Figma:
Designing Screens and Managing Environment
Advocate for design best practices:
Web responsive protocols and Design System considerations
Bring fresh design perspective to improve user outcomes:
Challenge current assumptions | Bring new ideas on UX/UI execution
Qualifications
3-5 years' experience design web responsive applications
Figma proficient and Experience establishing UX design systems
Knowledge of web responsive design best practices
Use of Adobe CC, Illustrator, Invision
Success Criteria
Conversion of Invision prototype to Figma
Establishment of design system and team environment
