UI Designer

We are looking for a highly innovative UI designer to bring our product to life in a simple, intuitive and consistent format for both the web and mobile versions of our platform. You will work in close collaboration with our UX Designers, Developers and Product Manager.
You will
- Apply overall product strategy through design, prototyping, and market research
- Clarify and translate user needs into our design specifications, in collaboration with UX designers
- Establish and formalize design guidelines and standards
- Create visual design specifications for developers
- Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results
You are
- A master of empathy and putting yourself in the shoes of the users

- Familiar with standard design tools

You have
- A minimum of 3+ years experience working in UI design
- The ability to handle deadlines and the occasional stressful situation (this is a startup!)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making
- The interpersonal skills to navigate complex challenges by aligning internal and external stakeholders on a common goal
- Knowledge of web implementation technologies. (No coding required, but the ability to converse with developers about implementation details is important.)
- Experience working in a startup environment
