Pharmavite is seeking a Digital UX & UI Designer for NatureMade.com’s Consumer Experience team. The right candidate possesses both digital UX and UI expertise and excels at creating structured, intuitive user-centric experiences and clean design. This person will be reporting to the eCommerce Product Manager.
Key responsibilities:
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:- Assimilate business requirements and technical considerations to create comprehensive new or enhanced digital UX/UI solutions, from concepting and wireframing through designing and measuring success.
- Applies critical thinking when identifying ways to continuously improve via usability testing and keeping apprised of industry UX&UI evolutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and design to complete user experiences that meet vision, business objectives, and are technically performant, scalable, and manageable.
- Iterates and optimizes designs strategically and efficiently.
- Creates digital concepts, consumer journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, functional prototypes, final design assets and functional requirements in a timely manner.
- Communicates design solutions clearly and effectively to teams and third-party partners.
- Understands and shares current UX and UI best practices, industry trends and emerging digital technologies that improve user experience.
- Identifies and resolves UX issues.

Critical Success Factors:
You'll be most successful in this role if you have:- Extensive design experience and deep understanding of UX and UI best practices.
- Ability to work well with stakeholders to define requirements and design complete user experiences that meet vision, business objectives, and are technically performant, scalable, and manageable.
- Strong organizational, management and communication skills; be able to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders.
- Display original thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness.
- Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism. Apply feedback to improve performance and monitor own work to ensure quality.
- Demonstrate self-starter initiative, and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment that requires an ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Capabilities & Skills Required
In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- 5 or more years of professional digital UX and UI design experience, focused on eCommerce. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete DTC environments.
- 5 or more years of professional experience with UX/UI software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design decisions.
- A solid understanding of both UX and UI user-centered design principles, usability and accessibility standards.
- Experience with user research, user surveys, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping and heuristic analysis.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your digital design expertise and strengths across multiple eCommerce touchpoints.
- Experience designing email templates, knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo and channel best practices are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and strategically.
- Must be able to effectively collaborate with a team, as well as execute autonomously.
- Team oriented; willing to occasionally step-in and take on responsibilities outside of immediate scope.
