Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager to help drive operational excellence across our fast-paced, high-growth organization. In this role, you will design low-friction processes, recommend operational optimizations, identify and implement new tools or business applications, and be a critical, cross-functional leader. We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, attentive to detail, loves developing processes, and is a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive key initiatives that move the business forward strategically. Sample projects you might lead from inception to delivery:
- Manage/support acquisition integration planning and execution
- Support implementation of OKR framework
- Build the foundation for an internal project management office – establishing project management best practices and creating resources for the organization
- Manage company-wide intranet implementation
- Manage SIEM implementation
- Manage PAM implementation
- Manage Reseller Marketplace implementation
- Be an excellent project manager, give clear, concise action items that keep projects on track and on time. Always anticipate challenges down the road that could lead to roadblocks in execution.
- Work closely with subject matter experts across the business to expand your own knowledge and have a deep understanding of how each team operates.
- Proactively identify areas of inefficiency or lack of SOPs across departments, call out cross-functional interdependencies, and develop a path to designing and implementing a solution.
- Help teams solve problems with a plan for both the short term and long term, constantly prioritizing to hit both objectives.
- Collaborate seamlessly with all teams across the organization, you should be a trusted partner, and a huge resource for every team.
- Establish best practices and standardization for evaluating, planning, and executing projects across the organization. Be the subject matter expert in cross-functional collaboration.
- Be a strong and frequent communicator, airing on the side of over-communication, to keep stakeholders consistently up to date on project status and timeline
- Problem solver – you aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, identify problems, and devise thoughtful solutions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks – you are a self-directed task manager in an environment of constantly shifting priorities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to own the creation of analysis, and comfort presenting information back to various stakeholders including members of the executive team.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. This is one of our most cross-functional roles, and therefore, you should be a cultural champion in the organization.
- Attention to detail – you will ensure that nothing gets overlooked or falls through the cracks when you’re involved, regardless of which teams you are working with.
- Appreciation for downstream effects and cross-functional impact – you will have the best perspective on both and will lead the charge to ensure that all are considered with each decision.
- Ability to influence those around you, regardless of role and title – you will always have stakeholders that will directly impact the quality and deadlines of your projects. You will need them to follow your lead.
- 3+ years of direct project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP certification is a plus.
