We are looking for an experienced Sr. Data Analyst to join the Product Analytics team. This position is responsible for owning/collaborating on the creation and maintenance of mechanisms that offer continuous, actionable insights from multiple data streams across the company’s product portfolio.
What you will need to know/have:
- MS or BS in technical degree field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture/modeling and dashboard UI development/design
- Working knowledge of the following:
- Scripting languages (e.g. Python, SQL)
- Business intelligence solutions (eg. Salesforce, Tableau)
- Data engineering concepts (integrations / ETL, big data technologies, data warehousing, etc.) is a plus but not required
- Data science concepts including statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics is a plus but not required
- Note that the current analytics environment utilizes JIRA, Boomi, Python, Spark, SnowFlake, and Tableau

Responsibilities and Duties
What you will be doing:- Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining KPI reports from the ground up; collaborating on defining the requirements, assisting with ETL / integrations, architecting the data models, and providing maintenance & support.
- Solving ambiguous and challenging data-related problems that help to answer research questions.
- Working closely with data governance to assist in high confidence / “single source of truth” initiatives.
- Collaborating on mixed methods research efforts where quantitative analyses complement qualitative initiatives.
- Balancing ownership and collaboration on initiatives; offering consultation as needed.
- Developing new data opportunities (both structured and unstructured) and sophisticated data models used to build new dashboards, automated reports, and product analytics.
- Applying data engineering knowledge such as ETL, big data technologies, and scripting languages to maintain and/or improve existing processes.
- Utilizing knowledge of data science concepts including statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics to support various business needs.
- Adapting to immediate needs and maintaining flexible priorities.
