In this position, your focus would be creating copy that brings Brooke Castillo’s revolutionary ideas and “voice” to life. Your efforts will play an integral role in expanding The Life Coach School’s brand reach, awareness, and engagement.

Role Description:

  • You will be highly proficient in writing copy for a variety of media focused primarily on direct response marketing - including, but not limited to, ad copy, email campaigns, landing pages, sales pages, and all aspects of a sales funnel. Copy could also include website content, social posts/descriptions, print media, video, and email campaigns.
  • You will uphold our brand guidelines and learn, capture, and emulate our founder Brooke Castillo’s voice and tone
  • You will consistently edit and proof your work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
  • You will collaborate with the creative marketing director and take ownership of copy projects to bring your best work to the table and see projects through to completion.
  • You will drive brand consistency across all company marketing communications
  • You will stay current on copywriting and SEO trends
  • You will be obsessed with data as it pertains to copy, understanding the importance of performance optimization
  • You will see projects through the whole creative lifecycle, from inception to deployment, if necessary.
Requirements

Desired Qualifications:
  • You have a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of direct response marketing and sales funnels and know how to write specifically for all steps of a funnel and customer journey.
  • You have an excellent portfolio of written content for which you have strategized and researched. (NOTE: This must be content that you wrote yourself)
  • You preferably have a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
  • You have 5+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, and SEO
  • You love to think creatively and conceptually
  • You thrive on tight deadlines
  • You are a self-starter who takes charge of your own responsibilities
  • You have masterful writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
  • You have a proven ability and strategy to capture brand voice, as if it’s your native tongue
  • You align with our core values, as stated below
  • Preferred Qualification: You are familiar with Brooke Castillo’s work either through being a Certified Coach, a long-time podcast listener, or Self Coaching Scholar.

Compensation:
  • Negotiable based on expertise
  • This is contract position with the potential for full time employment
