The Editorial team provides writing and editing services across CrowdStrike. In addition to providing writing support for various projects across the company, this team ensures all published content is of the highest quality and incorporates CrowdStrike’s values and messaging priorities.
- Copyedit all written content that flows through the editorial team — including blogs, reports, white papers, eBooks, and more — as well as strategic marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with internal partners across marketing, corporate communications, PR, social media, and more to take written projects from conception to completion and achieve the highest quality of output.
- Participate in content writing for customer stories, including writing interview questions, talking with the customer, and seeing each project through from start to finish.
- Content writing for ad hoc projects as needed (white papers, blogs, etc.).
- Assist the Director of Editorial Content with managing the content development process.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong copyediting skills: can catch errors not just in words/sentences but also in designed formats; for example, inconsistencies between images and copy, incorrect formatting, etc.
- Strong writing skills; a desire to take on writing assignments
- 5-10 years of related experience, ideally with a background in technology. Cybersecurity is a plus.
- An ability to pivot on a moment’s notice as high-priority projects arise.
- A willingness to occasionally work outside of normal office hours.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Be able to match the pace and unpredictability of the cybersecurity industry.
- Ability to work quickly and effectively across a range of priorities and product lines
- Strong experience in messaging and ensuring content is aligned with the company’s vision and mission

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to exercise good editorial judgment and discretion
- Versatile team player and a self-starter with a “Sure thing!” attitude

- Familiarity with print/digital asset production processes
- Extremely well-organized
- Experience in journalism, marketing, communications, or another related field
- Experience with a CMS such as WordPress.
