We are currently seeking a Content Strategist to join our team in a remote position that will be professionally rewarding and challenging while offering you the autonomy to work from wherever you choose. As a Content Strategist at Poolwerx , you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the marketing and website content strategy across all Poolwerx platforms. The Content Strategist is a critical role inside Poolwerx and collaborates with brand teams and external partners on the development of highly effective brand-building content. You will work directly with the Marketing Manager to :

• Build creative copy that reflects the Poolwerx brand guidelines and supports our national campaign, and local area marketing needs
• Manage website content strategy that successfully conveys our value proposition and drives traffic

• Collaborative team player Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Lead the development and execution of holistic content strategies
• Be the trusted thought leader to our internal team, Franchise Partners, and agencies on what truly distinguishes our content from other brands
• Participate in creative concepting cross-functionally, and present ideas persuasively in a clear, strong point-of-view that aligns with our brand values, business, and user experience objectives
• Create streamlined and repeatable processes, workflows, and content templates that enable the team to remain agile in an environment that prioritizes moving fast and providing consistent results for our Franchise Partners
• Ensure website content aligns with the brand, adds value to existing and prospective clients, and encourages the reader to take profitable business action, regularly updating website content when needed
• Indirectly manage and lead UX writers as well as third-party agencies when appropriate, managing content budgets, assisting in business development, and be involved in the technical integration of content
• Aid in the selection and management of the right technologies, tools, and resources to facilitate exceptional content creation and implementation - including how to deliver the right assets to create best-in-class digital experiences across the consumer journey
• Support the Marketing Manager by driving graphic designer to create content that represents our campaigns and brand guidelines
• Direct graphic designer to fulfill creative job requests from Franchise Partners and Franchise Business Consultants
• Oversee content requirements and create a clear content strategy framework with deliverables across the life cycle of projects, leading the effort end-to-end. This includes everything from content audits/gap analyses, to developing content strategies and roadmaps that align with stated business objectives
• Participate in actual content creation with team members, including but not limited to deliverables such as content matrices, copy deck management, and editorial guidelines
• Write press releases, landing page content, and social media profile content as needed
• Ensure Franchise Partners maintain and adhere to our Poolwerx brand guidelines by leading by example. Participate in calls with Franchise Partners to provide instructions regarding brand guidelines
• Participate in Franchise Partner training for marketing sessions
• Maintain and be part of a positive team environment and company culture aligned with our Core Values Successful Candidates Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or journalism
• Excellent writing skills, client-facing skills, and significant SEO knowledge
• Experience building landing pages with WordPress or other similar website CMS, and working with web developers
• Experience with Google Analytics and SEMrush
• Experience working with graphic designers
• Project Management skills
• Email marketing experience preferred
• Facebook and Google My Business experience a plus
• E-commerce experience a plus
