About This Role
We are looking for someone who lives and breathes Destiny, is excited about helping players with every aspect of the game, and is comfortable with it being the only thing they cover. The Fanbyte Media team is responsible for delivering websites and communities built from the best player tools, guides, and data to enhance gamers' experiences in and out of the game. You will work collaboratively across ZAM's teams to deliver audience, organizational, and content insights that impact how we approach the next generation of gamers.

Here at ZAM, we are diving into the next generation of technologies and human experiences to create something special. As the Destiny 2 Content Coordinator on ZAM's Fanbyte Media team, you will write news/guides, edit freelancers' content, coordinate our coverage, and manage our content schedule. Reporting to the Senior Game Guides Manager, you will leverage your deep knowledge and strategic thinking of existing Destiny 2 websites/tools/community data to create something that is more than just content (but we want you to be passionate about that aspect too)!

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Salary: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 monthly (contingent on skills and location)

As Destiny 2 Content Coordinator, your duties include:

• Manage content production for Destiny, including planning and execution.
• Creating a variety of content for casual and hardcore players including game updates, community news, item database pages, and extensive guides.
• Oversee the day-to-day site operations, managing the Destiny freelancer pool, assigning and scheduling work to optimize traffic growth.
• Develop workflows that enable writers and editors to work efficiently and effectively to publish detailed and SEO-optimized content on our platforms.
• Coordinate with site manager, business teams, and developers to plan and build new tools and features for the site.
• Assist on driving a vision set forth by the company's Head of Media and think strategically on new digital audience growth opportunities.
• Engage the Destiny community to solicit feedback which can be used to improve the website.
• Help grow Fanbyte's Destiny social media presence.
  
  

Qualifications
4+ years of established content coordination experience (preferably in the media or video game industries). If you don't think you meet all of the below criteria but are interested in the job, please apply. We prioritize creative thinking and focus on passion for gaming.

Skills

• A deep knowledge of existing Destiny 2 websites, tools, and community data.
• An intimate understanding of holistic operations for a media company that builds websites for gamers and associated gaming communities.
• You're excited to solve problems in innovative ways, and you resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
• Familiarity with data mining and how to ethically use the information.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills (prepare reports and analyze operations trends and characteristics).
• An independent, responsible and highly organized way of working, employing a creative way to engage and solve challenges.
• Confidence in dealing with a heated atmosphere and challenging situations based on your excellent team player qualities. Not taking community complaints personally.
