RevenueCat makes building, analyzing, and growing mobile subscriptions easy. We launched as part of Y Combinator's summer 2018 batch and today are handling more than $2B of in-app purchases annually across thousands of apps.

As the first Sales Development Representative (SDR) at RevenueCat, you will have a unique opportunity to establish and shape our SDR function from the ground up. Your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified leads, drive pipeline growth, and support our sales team in acquiring new customers for our subscription monetization platform in support of three AEs.

This role is set up to build the skills you need for a career in technical sales. With your enthusiasm, tenacity, and excellent communication skills, you will play a pivotal role in driving RevenueCat’s continued growth and success in the market.

About you:

  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening and writing skills
  • Goal-oriented, resourceful, and resilient
  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
  • Interest in a career in technical software sales
  • Proficient in the use of Salesforce and LinkedIn
  • Experience with platform-as-a-service, developer tooling, and the mobile space preferred
  • You have are comfortable with ambiguity, ideally having been an early startup hire
  • You share our values, and are eager to help mobile subscription businesses emerge, grow, and positively impact the world
  • In additional to requiring native fluency in English, we’re excited to talk to candidates that have native/bilingual level of fluency in the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean

In the first month, you'll:
  • Spend time learning our product, personas, positioning, process, and systems
  • Listen to & shadow customer calls to understand our talk tracks
  • Organize your target accounts
  • Build your first email sequences and cold call campaigns

Within the first 3 months, you'll:
  • Develop and execute on a strategic outreach plan to generate and qualify leads
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize campaigns and messaging
  • Conduct discovery calls with potential customers to understand their needs and educate them on our product
  • Ramp to 10+ new opportunity meetings set per month for AE team

Within the first 6 months, you'll:
  • Work closely with the AE team to learn the sales process, including product demonstrations, contract negotiations, and closing deals
  • Continuously refine your outreach plan and messaging to optimize lead generation and qualification
  • Consistently generate 10+ new opportunity meetings set for AE team per month
  • Help define a repeatable and refined playbook that enables you and future team members to exceed targets
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support RevenueCat's growth and success

Within the first 12 months, you'll:
  • Act as a mentor to new SDR hires and help to build out the SDR team
  • Continue to exceed meeting quota targets
  • Prepare to interview for AE role at RevenueCat

  • On-target earnings (OTE) is $100,000 with 70/30 base and variable pay structure regardless of your location
